LANDSCAPE TIP - Do not trim you Crepe Myrtles till the last possible freeze, (3/14), Pruning stimulates growth and new growth is susceptible to freeze damage.
Also, refrain from severely pruning the branches, remove only 1/3 of the branch to prevent that muscle bound look.
